The fire department firefighters living in the Township are members of the Quincy-Franklin-Hancock Township Fire Department and they report to the Township station whenever the department is paged out for an emergency.
In addition, the Quincy Hill station responds to the same emergency with up to 22 members.

In case of an emergency, residents with private driveways are encouraged to trim any low hanging tree branches, keep the driveway as wide as possible, and try to limit the mat build up in the winter to allow emergency vehicles safe access to the emergency site as the fire trucks continue to grow in size and weight.
